What is Top Host Deals?

Top Host Deals (THD) is a digg-style community that hopefully connects consumers towards finding the best value for their money when it comes to web hosting. Through the help of our community, THD gathers packages and prices from web hosting companies all over the globe. Community members can then "bump" the best deals towards the top of the pages within their respective categories and "dump" the lesser bargains to the bottom.

Let it be said though, finding a good hosting company is often times more than just saving a few bucks, which is why consumers will benefit greatly here at THD. Our members are welcome to share their experiences by commenting, rating and discussing their personal experiences with particular hosting companies, making the process of choosing a good host seem almost effortless for others.

Another wonderful benefit you'll receive is the fact that we have limited our database to a 30 day time limit on the Top Deals section of the web site.  Why is this important, you ask?  Because most deals do not last longer than 30 days and everyday there is always something else that comes along.  By limiting any top deal posting to 30 days, you will always be sure that the top deals voted throughout our community are actually still available and will always be current and up to date.  This also creates more fairness for other companies to try and get towards the top.

3. Better than Forums
If you're familiar with Digg, then you already know how well this type of voting system works. Web hosting forums are decent resources for finding a good web host, unfortunately, they offer no real structure for finding good deals.  By using our Digg-like structure, only the best offers make it to the front home page of our site.
