GoDaddy - The Deal is AboutSilver Lake

As soon as I heard about the GoDaddy deal I started researching the players; KKR Silver Lake Partners, and Technology Crossover Ventures. It did not take long to focus on Silver Lake...I had some theories and finally Bob Parsons confirmed my hypothesis with a couple of quotes.

When Bob Parsons said ""What excites me is what they bring to us as a competitor." it sealed the deal. Followed by this snippet "This is it! We are partnering with.. yada yada yada ...because of their technology expertise, their understanding of Web based businesses .....we will take the company to the next level, especially when it comes to accelerating international growth."
